Andrew Fothergill is the managing partner for Blue Anchor Property Management in Quinte West. His journey in the real estate and property management industry began as a teenager, doing odd jobs at a family-owned 20-unit apartment building. In his early 20’s, Andrew was hired into a maintenance position, and cared for a sprawling 250-acre campground and trailer park. His desire for hands-on work experience later led him to the carpenter’s union where he honed his skills in scaffolding, formwork and trim carpentry for private contractors.

As he settled into family life, Andrew broadened his knowledge base by acquiring both his life insurance license and mortgage agent license. As these fields of service have overlapped, Andrew has developed a deep understanding of the financial world, the intricacies of safeguarding one’s assets and has assisted clients as they navigate the complexities of property financing.

It all comes together in property management. This venture has provided Andrew with the opportunity to use the skills he’s developed over the years while simultaneously accomplishing one of his own personal objectives – helping others manage improve the performance of their assets.

By blending his diverse skill set with a genuine desire to make a difference, Andrew is committed to elevating the living standards and enhancing the real estate experience for both property owners and tenants alike.
